Polynesian Steak Marinate

1/2 cup hoi sin sauce
1 lime, juiced
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/4 cup green onion, chopped
2 tbsp. fresh ginger, minced
1 tbsp. sesame oil
1 tbsp. garlic, minced
1 serrano pepper, minced
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1 tbsp. brown sugar
Directions: Combine all of the ingredients.

Cooking Tip: Reserve half of the marinate and use as a baste while the steaks are on the grill.

Note: Only use this marinate for up to two hours. With the addition of pineapple juice any extended times may lead to mushy meat.
