  • 2 tbsp. black pepper, finely ground

  • 2 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. cayenne powder
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. curry powder
  • 1/2 powdered horseradish or wasabi
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano, finely ground
  • 2 cups of good dry merlot
  • 1 stick of unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp. of blue cheese, asiago cheese, or feta well crumbled or soft
