ingredients

  • 1/2 cup canned coconut milk, stirred well before measuring
  • 8 shallots, peeled and chopped
  • 3 tbsp. chopped fresh thyme (lemon thyme if available)
  • 2 tbsp. curry powder
  • 1-2 habanero peppers; seeded and chopped (use gloves)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Details

In 1 quart saucepan, blend all ingredients. Saute over medium heat; stirring occasionally until shallots and peppers are softened and ingredients have thickened to a sauce. Use as sauce for  Steakburgers  that have been cooked to your preference.
