Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into large bowl. With a pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cheese, onion and dill. Mix well. Combine milk and beaten egg; pour into flour mixture, Stir quickly with a fork, just to moisten other ingredients. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove and serve warm.
