  • Frenched Bone-In Ribeye Steaks
  • 1 cup of each of the following:
  • granulated garlic
  • pepper
  • kosher salt
  • thyme leaves
  • cumin
  • Old Bay Seasoning Mix
  • onion powder (if not available use granulated onion)

For a hotter rub: add equal parts of chili powder (or 1/4 cup crushed red peppers) Directions: Combine all spice ingredients in a large bowl and mix well to combine. (Reserve excess mixture for future cook outs in an air tight container or spice jar). Rub spice mixture on steak and let stand for 30 minutes at room temperature covered or uncovered (cooks choice). Cooking on the grill, prepare charcoals and/or gas grill for grilling. (Broiler may be used, use caution when using the broiler to prevent flare ups, cooking times would be the same). Place steaks on the grill and cook to desired doneness, medium rare is recommended . Cook for 6 to 7 minutes per side to achieve medium rare. Remove from grill, plate for serving, top with your favorite sauce, side dishes, and serve.
