Tamarind Glaze and Basting Sauce
- 1/2 cup seedless, unsweetened tamarind paste
- 3/4 cup apricot nectar
- 1/3 cup light molasses
- 3 tbsp. fresh lime juice

Combine the tamarind paste, the nectar, the molasses, and the lime juice in the jar of a blender. Puree until mixture is well blended and smooth. Note: this is a very thick sauce. * Any flavor nectar may be substituted for the apricot nectar.
