  • 1 cup kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup black peppercorns
  • 1/2 cup coriander seeds
  • 2 tbsp. fennel seed
  • 2 tbsp. caraway seed
  • 2 tbsp. green peppercorn
  • 2 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 tbsp. brown mustards

Coarsely grind/crack each spice (except the salt) individually in a spice grinder or mortar and pestle, just until they are barely cracked up. Mix all spices together until well incorporated and thoroughly blend. Rub on steaks 20-30 minutes before cooking for maximum flavor.
