  • 1 lb. Classic Ground Beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 16 oz. tomatoes with juice
  • 1 small bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 3 bouillon beef cubes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup cubed potatoes
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup celery
  • 1 cup cabbage
  • 1/4 cup rice

Details

Sauté Classic Ground Beef, onion and garlic clove until brown. Drain. Add tomatoes, bay leaf, thyme, basil and pepper and simmer for 30 minutes. Add bouillon cubes and salt. Add vegetables and simmer for 15 minutes. Add rice and simmer for an additional 15 minutes. Remove bay leave and serve.
