  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 cup dry sherry
  • 1 tbsp. chinese five-spice powder
  • 1/2 tbsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp. sugar

Mix together all ingredients, blend well. Place in a large re-sealable plastic bag, add up to 6 steaks to marinade mixture. Marinate in refrigerator up to 2 hours, then remove and bring to room temperature. Grill steaks to desired doneness.
