  • 2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. crushed mixed peppercorns
  • 2 tbsp. Demerara (or raw) sugar
  • 1/3 cup dark rum

Details

Mix ingredients thoroughly in 1 cup container. Cover and let flavors ripen for 2 hours. Massage gently into Kansas City Strip Steaks. Let marinade, chill covered overnight. Grill to taste over hardwood charcoal.
