EVERYBODY loved the "Smoke Salmon". I enjoyed it also. Great FOOD.

Being from the Midwest and now living in Maine, I'm not surprised that finding good beef here is a chore, but to my amazement it's nearly impossible to find decent lox here. When I saw that purchasing the smoked sockeye salmon from Kansas City Steaks was about the same per lb. as here, I gave it a try. It's very good. An earlier reviewer didn't like that it was not as smokey as some others they'd eaten. The smoke in lox style salmon should NOT be overpowering. It should be secondary to what you're paying for; the salmon. Also, this salmon is on the smokier end of the acceptable spectrum, not the other way around. This was worth the money.
