Our lamb has a mild, buttery flavor making it a meal to be savored and enjoyed. Raised in Colorado, on a 100% grass fed, grass finished diet, with no added hormones or antibiotics - this lamb will make any dinner a delight.

  • Cooking

    Thaw leg of lamb in refrigerator for two to three days before preparing.

    Remove leg from packaging (leave tied during cooking) and place on a rack in an open, shallow pan, fat side up.

    Roast in 325°F oven until the meat thermometer registers 145°F for medium rare (about 1 ½ to 2 hours) or 160°F for medium (about 2 to 2 ½ hours). To make slicing easier, let lamb stand for 5 to 15 minutes before slicing.

We'd never made anything "nice" like this before so were a bit nervous about getting it right. The lamb was a little more fatty than I expected but the flavor was fantastic. Easy and straightforward to prepare and delicious, even with no experience seasoning something like this.

    What to serve with lamb

    Is reheating recommended or would the lamb have more of an off or strong taste if reheated

    Great question! We recommend using the Leg of Lamb within 6 months frozen and a week refrigerated. If you prepare the Leg of Lamb we do not recommend for quality purposes to re-freeze.

    Someone asked if the LEG OF LAMB was Boneless and KS replied that it was Bone In.....the Description states De Boned so now I am confused as how you are selling this.....

    Is your lamb hormone free? Antibiotic free? Does your lamb consume GHO feed? Organic? I do not mind the price for Organic if it is offered.
