Details

Unlike ordinary pork chops from the grocery store, our Heritage Boneless Pork Chops come from heritage breed hogs, raised without antibiotics or growth stimulants. These breeds are also widely known for their exquisite marbling, which creates superior juiciness, flavor and texture. Try them for date night at home or any special occasion and taste the difference.

Cooking

Thaw in refrigerator for at least 24 hours. Remove chops from the refrigerator 30-40 minutes before cooking to bring to room temperature.

Grill:

  • Season chops as desired; we recommend Kansas City Steak Original Steak Seasoning.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat and once it is ready sear both sides of the chops for 1–2 minutes.
  • Reduce to medium heat and continue to grill in indirect heat to desired doneness. We recommend cooking to Medium-Rare/Medium doneness (approximately 12 to 22 minutes) or until internal temperature reaches 145°F as measured by a thermometer.
  • Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving. The internal temperature of the steaks will continue to rise about 5°F during this time.

Stove Top:

  • Season chops as desired; we recommend Kansas City Steak Original Steak Seasoning.
  • Preheat a heavy non-stick skillet over medium heat until hot, for about 5 minutes.
  • Place chops in preheated skillet (do not overcrowd). Do not add oil or water. Do not cover. Cook to desired doneness.

Oven:

  • Season chops as desired; we recommend Kansas City Steak Original Steak Seasoning.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Place chops on foil-lined, raised-edge baking sheet. Bake for approximately 20–30 minutes or until 150°F. As always, when cooking pork, you want a slight pink color.
  • Once the chops have reached 5° below your desired doneness remove from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
