Our Maine-style crab cakes are 80% crab meat - with a touch of seasonings that complement the naturally delicious flavor of crab: Dijon mustard, red pepper (which does give our crab cakes a nice little zing), parsley, chives and crunchy panko bread crumbs. The crab meat is the Jonah crab – known for its smaller size, but sweeter flavor. We’re proud to use only the freshest, Maine-sourced crab meat, with no pasteurization.

  • Cooking

    Thaw in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.

    Stove Top - Remove from packaging. In a heavy skillet, sauté crab cakes in butter or oil over medium-high heat 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown, turning occasionally. Serve with your favorite sauce or lemon wedges.

    I received my order of Crab Cakes this week.  I've put them in my freezer.  How long can I keep them frozen before I use them ?

    What degree do I bake crab cakes

    Thank you for contacting us! If you are fixing them in the oven, you'll back them at 350 degrees. Please find the full cooking directions below and also in the 'Cooking' tab on our Crabcakes. Remove cakes from vacuum pouch and place on a plate. Put plate in refrigerator and allow cakes to thaw for 1 hour before cooking. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add 3 tablespoons of oil or margarine. Place cakes in pan and allow to cook for 6 minutes on each side or until the outside of the cakes is golden brown and the inside is hot. Alternative Method - Remove cakes from vacuum pouch. While still frozen, place cakes on an oiled sheet pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 12 minutes on 1 side. Turn cakes and cook for an additional 8 minutes or until cakes are golden brown and hot on the inside. If you have any further questions please contact Customer Service at 1-800-524-1844.
