Lobster isn't the only famous seafood from Maine. Wait until you taste these sweet delicate, crab cakes. Crispy on the outside, fresh and moist on the inside, these beauties make excellent appetizers – or a meal all their own! Serve with a juicy Premium Steak for an incredible surf and turf.

Our Maine-style crab cakes are 80% crab meat - with a touch of seasonings that complement the naturally delicious flavor of crab: Dijon mustard, red pepper (which does give our crab cakes a nice little zing), parsley, chives and crunchy panko bread crumbs. The crab meat is the Jonah crab – known for its smaller size, but sweeter flavor. We’re proud to use only the freshest, Maine-sourced crab meat, with no pasteurization.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where's the crab These crab cakes are missing the most important ingredient, crab! They have a very strong flavor but no actual lump crab meat only a few little strands. The majority of taste is grainy panko bread crumbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never Better We've had crab at Myrtle Beach, VA shore, Maryland crabcakes in Baltimore, but these.. outstanding! Just the right balance of crab meat and spices and binding blends.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dry and flavorless No flavor, dry, and couldn't see the pcs of crab for the price. No sauce came with it either. Wish I had never spent that money. They need to eat the Maryland Crab Cakes at Pappas Seafood, with the big chucks of crab meat, and a lemon butter sauce over the top. I was so dissatisfied with these I ordered. Won't order those again.

What degree do I bake crab cakes

    Asked by: Trish
Thank you for contacting us! If you are fixing them in the oven, you'll back them at 350 degrees. Please find the full cooking directions below and also in the 'Cooking' tab on our Crabcakes. Remove cakes from vacuum pouch and place on a plate. Put plate in refrigerator and allow cakes to thaw for 1 hour before cooking. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add 3 tablespoons of oil or margarine. Place cakes in pan and allow to cook for 6 minutes on each side or until the outside of the cakes is golden brown and the inside is hot. Alternative Method - Remove cakes from vacuum pouch. While still frozen, place cakes on an oiled sheet pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 12 minutes on 1 side. Turn cakes and cook for an additional 8 minutes or until cakes are golden brown and hot on the inside. If you have any further questions please contact Customer Service at 1-800-524-1844.
