Mediterranean Crusted Steaks

1/3 cup italian bread crumbs
1/3 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. dried oregano or 2 tbsp. fresh chopped oregano
2 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley
1 tbsp. finely grated lemon rind
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 tps. salt
1 tsp. ground pepper
4 (6 oz. or 8oz.) Top Sirloin Steaks or Kansas City Strip Steaks
Directions: Mix all dry ingredients together in a medium bowl with a fork. Add lemon juice and oil and continue to mix until combined, Add salt & pepper and combine. Mixture will be moist but crumbly.

Pat steaks dry and grill on medium high heat for 4-5 minutes. Turn and top cooked side of steaks with bread crumb mixture. Cover grill and continue to cook another 4-5 minutes until steaks are medium rare or the degree doneness desired.

Mixture will form a crust on top of steaks. Let stand several minutes before serving.
