    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Birthday Son My Son lives in Boston with his wife and my two little grandsons. He's a Midwest guy and always will be, so therefore; he loves steaks. Each year on his Birthday Dec. 19th I send him Kansas City Ribeyes, that's his favorite. He loves getting the package, it's always properly packaged to ensure the steaks are perfect. The ribeyes have such a wonderful rich flavor they are perfect for grilling. Now his two boys have learned to love these steaks so Dad has to share. Thank you Kansas City Steak Co. for making one Midwest boy have a taste of home and a Happy Mom.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too thin, tough I bought these as add-ins for a good price and finally got to grill some last weekend. I was disappointed as they are way too thin and were a little tough. The taste was good but that's the only thing good I can say about them. I'll just spend a little more and get a better quality steak next time.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh My brother and I usually exchange Kansas City for Christmas but this years ribeye were only fair and not worth the price. Plus we got no special deal offers until we had already ordered. I can get steaks of better quality at my local butcher for less. Will not order from here again.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too Thin The taste of these steaks are good. They are by far better than the grocery store out here.They are very thin making it difficult to cook the way I like it (medium). I tried multiple methods from grilling and using Gordon Ramsay's technique for cooking it steak in a skillet (search on youtube). With both methods it was hard to get the doneness I desired with the proper amount of browning on the steak. I used a very hot iron skillet and grill in both cases. If the cut was thicker, this wouldn't be an issue. The photos are a bit misleading. Thickness range should be listed in the description of the product.I would order again but try maybe a bigger steak (14oz) in hopes it will be thicker so I can cook it the way I like it.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Boneless Ribeye Steaks The flavor of these 2 Rib Eyes was OUTSTANDING. I expected that from Kansas City Steak. Beautiful pieces of meat. However, while they were almost exactly the same size, the cuts did not match so that interfered with how we cooked them. One was much more fatty than the other, so it curled in the pan, while the other one came out just perfectly. If you buy pairs, I would only suggest making a special request that they are better matched.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better Than Expected! An excellent Christmas Dinner for 12, Of course there are small variations in thickness because they are hand cut. Relax, enjoy the flavor of these steaks. All of the steaks were near-Prime quality and perfectly aged with that subtle aged flavor. I hot-panned seared these steaks in Ghee and Olive Oil, then finished them on the grill over Mesquite Charcoal. Salt and Pepper only. Everybody remarked on the great steak flavor without knowing the origin. That was my secret test and these Kansas City Ribeyes passed with flying colors!
