Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sooo worth it!! You might think this product a bit pricey--- all I can say is buy it, Cook it correctly, and you will be sold hands-down. I went to the grocery store and bought a fillet for my husband and I, cooked them the same way, however, they were not as tender and there were pieces that I actually could not eat and that just doesn't happen on the Kansas City steak. Kansas City steaks are like butter melting in your mouth they're so delicious you can't mess them up I highly recommend if you want to enjoy what you're eating and get your moneys worth you have to buy your fillet mignon, from Kansas City steak!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Steaks Period These are the best steaks I ever ate. I won't buy any filets anywhere else. My wife will not go out to dinner an order a steak, that's for sure. I can't tell you how many points I racked up by preparing these steaks for friends and family. I mostly grill them using lump charcoal, but in the winter I fry them in an iron pan with butter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value I have ordered twice with and both orders had the same quality. Though they appear expensive, it is a meal that is way less expensive than going out to a good Steak House. I have bought both Filet Mignon and Rib Eye's........ They are better than a Five Star rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from USDA Prime Filet Mignon - superb taste and tender We cooked the steaks as follows: Chicago seasoning or Kansas City Steak seasoning on the steaks, right after the steaks come out of the refrigerator; sear the steaks 2 minutes on each side at high temperatures (500-600°) on our gas grill; and then cook 6 to 7 minutes on each side over low heat. We have 3 burners on our grill. After searing the steaks, I turn the farthest burner on the right to low heat (that's where the stakes are placed on top of), turn the middle burner between medium and low, and keep the other burner on high. After pulling the steaks off the grill, I wrap each in aluminum foil, to allow the steaks to become even more tender and retain the juices. After opening up the package 3 minutes later, the steaks are medium/medium rare, moist and superb.
