Sweet 'N Sour Chops

Ingredients:
8 pork chops (1 inch thick)
1 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
1 green pepper cut in strips
1 onion sliced thin
2 1/2 cups lemon-lime carbonated beverage

Sweet and Sour Sauce:
3 cups pineapple juice
1 cup vinegar
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
Directions: Combine all sweet-sour sauce ingredients in a saucepan. Cook over low heat until clear and thickened, stirring constantly. (if desired, add pineapple, green pepper and onion during last 4 or 5 minutes.)

Add lemon-lime beverage to 1 cup of sweet-sour sauce to make a tenderizing marinade. Pour marinade over pork chops, cover and chill overnight.

Grill chops over medium-hot fire for 10-12 minutes per side, turning only once. Baste chops with sauce during last 4-5 minutes of grilling time.
