  • Cooking

Thaw in refrigerator for at least 24 hours.

    Grill Master (Charcoal/Gas)

  • Season as desired: We recommend Kansas City Steak Original Steak seasoning. Place steaks over medium, ash-covered coals, or, preheat gas grill on high, then reduce to medium heat while cooking steaks.
  • Grill to desired doneness, according to time listed, turning once for 1-inch thick steaks, occasionally for thicker steaks.

    Stove Top Skillet

  • Heat a heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot, for about 5 minutes.
  • Season, as desired. Place steak(s) in preheated skillet (do not overcrowd). Do not add oil or water. Do not cover. Cook to desired doneness according to the times listed, turning once for 1-inch thick steaks, occasionally for thicker steaks.

    Broil

  • Set oven for broiling; preheat 10 minutes. During broiling, the door of an electric oven should be left ajar; the door of a gas oven should remain closed. (Consult your owner’s manual.)
  • Season, as desired. Place steaks on rack in broiler pan. Position broiler pan so that the surface of the beef is 3 to 4 inches from the heat. Broil to desired doneness, according to times listed, turning once.

American Style Kobe Boneless Ribeyes is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected. The Kobe Filet Mignon is great. Tender like I expect Kobe beef to be. This Kobe Ribeye was not what I had expected in that it was Kobe beef. Had better Ribeyes that were not Kobe so I will not be ordered this again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Kobe Ribeyes Almost all my orders from K.C. steaks have been great. These steaks looked nothing like kobe ribeyes. They have very little marbling and were not tender at all. I have some pictures to verify. At the price I would not buy these but do recommend the prime ribeyes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tender but too thin Very tender but they are so thin that they were already medium after searing both sides for only 30 seconds each. I like the fillets but these just can't be grilled to a proper temperature. This was my first purchase of these and I have six more but after those, I won't be ordering them again. They should but cut at least 1.25 inches preferably more.

Thank you for your inquiry! Your correct, the grading is a little different with the Wagyu American Style Kobe Beef, the steaks we offer are graded as a 8-9 with 12 being the highest.
