Thai Firecracker Filet
Ingredients:
1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
1 tbsp. fresh ginger
1 tbsp. fresh garlic
1 tbsp. dried basil
1 tbsp. tamari (fermented soy sauce; lite soy if not available)
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. Thai Chili-Garlic Sauce
Directions:
Blend all ingredients together and marinate 4 1-inch thick
Filet Mignon Steaks
at room temp for 20 minutes. Grill on preheated med-high grill for 6 minutes each side for medium temperature; longer for well-done and shorter for medium-rare or rare. Blend marinade independently and add 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar and 1 tablespoon water and toss with 2 cups raw shredded cabbage for "oriental cole slaw".
