from delicious pork chops We purchased Berkshire pork chops from Kansas City Steak and they were out of this world. It is hard to find a tender pork chop in local stores so I appreciate being able to purchase them on line.

from Delicious Best moist pork chops. Browned on both sides in pan, then added some white wine covered and steamed till done. The wine deglazed the pan and created a nice sauce. Delicious!

Chatom Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, Calaveras Cou
Serve this bold Cabernet Sauvignon with equally bold red meat or game dishes. While lamb is a traditonal match for Cabernet, we prefer the Chatom Cabernet with beef, which complements its sweet fruit.
Hot summer days in the high Sierras give this Cabernet its plush blackberry, blackcurrant and plum tones; cold nights give it supporting tannins and natural, balanced acidity. Sweet cedar, clove and olive notes add savory complexity to the full-bodied palate.
Banshee Pinot Noir, Sonoma County
Pinot Noir is one of the world’s most versatile red wines. From lean meat cuts to poultry, earthy foods, legumes and vegetarian fare, it can take almost anything. Feel free to combine somewhat riper ones such as Banshee with dishes such as braised chicken with chanterelles or roast turkey with mushroom gravy. Savory pork and hearty salmon and tuna dishes work well, too.
Ripe, red fruit flavors, bright acidity and silky tannins, with vibrant raspberry and red plum tones edged in notes of pine and spice.
Textbook Chardonnay, Napa Valley
The Textbook snaps into focus when served with plump and juicy shellfish, especially shrimp, scallops and lobster. It also pairs well with mild, delicate poultry, veal and pork dishes.
A creamy texture combines with crisp fruit in this rich, vibrant Chardonnay. It offers tropical and stone fruit notes, with accents that suggest unsalted butter and lemon curd.
Hungry Blonde Viognier, Napa Valley
It’s terrific with pork and poultry dishes, especially those with creamy sauces or mild, warm spices (think ginger, coriander, cumin or clove). Additionally, Viognier has an inherent peachy sweetness (not sugar, but fruitiness) that is an outstanding companion for similar spicy/sweet preparations of flavorsome fish like salmon or black cod.
Exuberant papaya and jasmine scents lead to a silky, full-bodied palate with guava, peach and citrus flavors, with a hint of jasmine adding a floral lift.
